Bio: Nathania is a teacher with an enthusiasm for learning and a passion for music. She has proven herself as a dedicated and determined student and is now excited to be sharing her love of music with young beginners. As a student teacher at Motif Music Studios, Nathania is able to work alongside teachers who are happy to share their years of experience with her. |

Anita Gallagher Guitar Highlights:
Bio: Anita has a true passion for music and an enjoyment for teaching that shines through as she works with students of all ages. Students studying Classical / Spanish-style guitar will learn music reading and theory principals, as well as enjoy playing melodies and learning strumming and picking patterns. Anita challenges her students with a wide variety of music and encourages composition. Anita is a confidant teacher and welcomes beginner to intermediate students. |

Rachel Fuller, BA Music Saxophone, Clarinet Highlights:
Bio: Rachel is an experienced performer and has visited over 50 cities around the world playing for Princess Cruise lines and P & O Cruises as a saxophonist. Her passion for music and her enjoyment of a wide variety of music styles is a great asset as she shares her music with students in the Comox Valley. Rachel is excited to teach clarinet & bass clarinet as well as soprano, alto & tenor saxophone. |

Jeff Drummond Guitar Highlights:
Bio: Jeff has an extensive background as an instructor and a performer and is a great addition to our teaching staff at Motif. Jeff graduated with his Music Performance Diploma from Mount Royal College and has performed on national TV and radio such as Muchmore Music, Mike Bullard, Canada AM and CBC. Jeff is happy to teach a variety of music styles from Jazz to folk guitar and is comfortable working with students of all ages. |

Timothy Croft, B.M., M.M. Bass, Jazz Theory Highlights:
Bio: Timothy Croft is now accepting private jazz theory and bass students at Motif Music Studios for Fall 2011. Timothy has his BA in jazz studies as well as his Masters in Jazz Performance and is excited to share his knowledge with students in the Comox Valley.
Timothy has taught theory at Humber College and Jazz appreciation at Western Michigan University. He has also taught in music camps across the US with students of varying ages and levels.
Currently, Tim is actively performing in various local groups around Courtenay, including the Vancouver Island Symphony, The Forbidden Jazz Trio and The Johanna Finch Ensemble. He also teaches music at “Ecole Au Coeur de l’ile” in Comox. We look forward to having Timothy as part of our teaching team at Motif. |
