With a strong performance background, Nicole is well-prepared to work with students of a variety of levels and is happy to encourage students as they set goals for their music learning. |

Amie Webster, ARCT, RMT Piano, Music Theory, Program Coordinator Highlights:

Bio: Amie is a teacher that not only loves music, but truly has an appreciation for each of the students that she teaches. In her fifteen years of teaching she has learned to adapt to the learning styles of each student and thrives on seeing students play & compose music that they enjoy. Amie is currently on leave from private teaching, but will be taking a waiting list for students interested in studying theory rudiments and music history. |

Bio: Julianne is a teacher with a passion for music. She is flexible and open to teaching many different styles of music and is a role model to students as she continues to play and progress in her own music learning. Julianne displays a genuine care for her students and hopes that each of them can enjoy making great music at any age and level. |

Bio: Nathania is a teacher with an enthusiasm for learning and a passion for music. She has proven herself as a dedicated and determined student and is now enjoying sharing her love of music with her students. Nathania builds a great rapport with each of her students and encourages them to play with detail and musicality. We have appreciated Nathania's gift of working with a team of teachers and it is to her credit that she willingly seeks growth both as a musician and teacher. |

Anita Gallagher Guitar Highlights:

Bio: Anita has a true passion for music and an enjoyment for teaching that shines through as she works with students of all ages. Students studying Classical / Spanish-style guitar will learn music reading and theory principals, as well as enjoy playing melodies and learning strumming and picking patterns. Anita challenges her students with a wide variety of music and encourages composition. Anita is a confidant teacher and welcomes beginner to intermediate students. |

Rachel Fuller, BA Music Saxophone, Clarinet Highlights:

Bio: Rachel is an experienced performer and has visited over 50 cities around the world playing for Princess Cruise lines and P & O cruises as a saxophonist. As an instructor, Rachel is able to encourage excellence in her students as they pursue their music goals. Rachel is detailed and focused and students will enjoy seeing the progress they are capable of making. Rachel is currently on maternity leave, but has a group of students eager to return when she begins teaching once more. We will be accepting a wait list for Rachel for the Spring of 2013. |

Jeff Drummond Guitar, Bass Highlights:

Bio: Jeff has an extensive background as an instructor and performer and is a great addition to our teaching staff at Motif. Jeff graduated with his Music Performance Diploma from Mount Royal College and has performed on national TV and radio such as Muchmore Music, Mike Bullard, Canada AM and CBC. Jeff is happy to teach a variety of music styles from Jazz to folk guitar and is comfortable working with students of all ages. Jeff is very capable of instructing beginner students in proper techniques with a focus on learning notation and chords, but is also able to challenge students who are studying at an advanced level. |

Anne Bateman, M.A.,B.Mus,A.Arts,AVCM,BCRMTA Voice, Piano Highlights:

Bio: Laura Anne is an engaging instructor who enjoys working with students with a variety of music backgrounds, interests and stages of life. She enjoys keeping in touch with many of her former students over 25 years of teaching and is very proud of their accomplishments on stage, TV, movies, CDs, musicals, theatre productions, theme parks and as recording artists. As a vocal instructor, Anne has worked at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, St. Michael's University School, St. Margaret's School, and Westmont Montesorri School. She was also the music director at Pearson College and the head of Voice and Voice instructor at Canadian College of Performing Arts for 6 years. We are very excited to have Laura Anne join our teaching team at Motif Music Studios and know that she will be a wonderful addition to music making in the Comox Valley. |
